OFFICERS PRESIDENT Dale Behrens VICE-PRESIDENT Bob Willfong SECRETARY Pat Als1p TREASURER Lo1s Busboom STUDENT COUNCIL Ray Aden ADVISER Mrs Anderson Scmor Class HISIOIY Just four short years ago twenty one green freshmen slowly walked 1nto these halls of 1V'y not know1ng qu1te what to expect but lt wasn t long before we got 1nto the groove Mrs Sh1ley was our sponsor and we elected Karen Bradley as our Pres1dent Ray Aden as our V1ce Pres1dent Larry Jacobs as our Secretary Betty Buhr as our Treasurer and Sandra Frer1chs as our Student Counc1l Representat1ve We held a ch1l1 supper so we would have enough money to have a skatmg party That year we lost Earl K1nca1d Betty Peterson and Barbara Fruh l1ng from our number We started our sophomore year off w1th a bang by hav1ng a Freshman In1t1at1on Dance We elected Ray Aden as our Pres1dent Larry Jacobs as V1ce Pres1dent Karen Bradley as Secretarv Sandra Frer1chs as Treasurer and Barbara Jeffords as Student Counc1l Repre sentatlve to gu1de us through the year Our sponsor Mrs Wagner helped us w1th our turkey raffle paper dr1ve and our food sale We lost two more members that year Don Alslp and Denny Hough We ended the year w1th a blast at the Lake of the Woods We came back our Jumor year to g1ve the best Prom and Banquet ever ' Our off1cers were Larry Jacobs Pres1dent Dale Behrens V1ce Pres1dent Sandra Steenbergen Secretary enough money to g1ve the sen1ors a banquet and prom we sold magaz1nes and held another turkey raffle The name of our Junlor play was CALLING ALL GIRLS Our sponsor Mrs Rodgers helped us plan our Prorn and Banquet whlch was based on the theme AISLE OF ALOHA an Hawa11an sett1ng We were entertamed by an Hawauan dancer dur1ng the Banquet WOWW' We were sorry to lose Lewls Frer1chs and Larry Plotner from our ranks that year In the fall of 1958 s1xteen seasoned upper classmen came back determ1ned to make th1s our last year the best one yet We gamed a new member Dott1e Reed but we were sorry to lose Earlene Thomas Dlane Rosenback and Betty Carllsle dur1ng the course of the year We elected Dale Behrens as our Pres1dent Bob W1llfong as our V1ce Presxdent Pat AISIP as our Secretary Lo1s Busboom as our Treasurer and Ray Aden as our StudentCounc1l Repre sentat1ve In the fall we gave an h1lar1ous play TAKE YOUR MEDICINE and sold ads to fmance our MAROON We had another turkey raffle wh1ch seemed to be gett1ng a hablt I the sprmg we spent a WONDERFUL and DELICIOUS week end at the French L1ck Hotel 1n French L1ck Ind1ana We had a ball and we re ready to go back anyt1me Now that we re say1ng good bye to these halls of 1vy we w1ll all m1ss these wonderful days of h1gh school at good ole Ogden H1gh 9 I O . . . , . , .
