Clmewica The Ogden Chapter of the Future Farmers of America made a dynamic start in theyear of 1951- 52 under the guidance of Vernon Buhr. Many activities were planned for the year, one of which was the attendance of the Chapter officers and Mr. Shelton at Leadership Training School held at Gibson City, Illinois, in October. The pride of every member of the F.F.A. is inflated when a successful Parent-Son Banquet is held. Our sixth annual Banquet was held on December 8, at the High School, with 89 present. Vernon Buhr acted as master of ceremonieswith Duane Franzen giving the welcome. The response was given by Mr. Elvin Helton and the Chapter History was read hy Dick McGee. Group singing was led by Mrs. John Hay. The main activities for the spring were the entering of the boys in the Parlimentary Procedure Contest held by Section 17 and the selling of garden seerl.
