Fsrst Row Loretta Gronewold Secretary Drck Langenwalter Treasurer Second Row Myron Bluhm Student Council Representative Norma Fre rlchs Reporter Mxke Hay Presrdent Joe Helton Vzce Preszdent Third Row Mr Hay and M's Mahaffey Advisors S 805016 When our Freshman class of nrneteen m number entered the hallowed halls of Ogden High rn September 1948 the upper-classmen drdn t know whether to hold therr ground or run But we were soon rounded up and run through the showers, when no teachers were lookxng and also lnltxated publrcly The gavel was handed to Myron Bluhm and under the supervrslon of Mr Hay, we had several fxne partxes a p1cn1c at Klckapoo State Park and a party at Mr Hay s house Smce we lost four members of our class and only gaxned one, srxteen Sophomores answered roll call the next fall That year we responded under the 1ron hand of Clrfford Krtchen and sxnce under-classmen do not have business to attend to we had a lot of par- t1es We also got to lmtxate the Freshmen and new teachers In our ,Iumor year we buckled down under the supervrslon of Ruth Peters and got a lot of work done, although lt sometlmes amazed our sponsors Also our class seems to have the mlsfortune of losmg classmates for we lost two more thxs year Every ,Inmor hopes to have a good Prom and slnce we had a very profrtable magazxne sales campargn 1n the fall and gave the play entrtled Tea Toper Tavem we were able to have a very successful Prom Our theme was Treasure Island and Drck Bouchard Mlsfortune struck again and we lost two more members of our class lC8VlDg a total of eleven to carry on wxth thxs year s work We responded under the gavel of Mlke Hay, who kept us very busy workxng on the yearbook On Apnl 4 we held a one nrght success e titled The Phantom Bells whlch enabled us to get the funds necessary for our Sen1or tl'lp On May 16 early rn the momlng we left for Klrkwood Lodge at the Lake of the Ozarks and dldll t return untll May 18 We had a lot of fun and only wlshed we could have stayed a week Now we are leavlng Ogden Hrgh with fond memones of the last four years flxed rn our mlnds as we make our way down llfe s hl way 5 R XX of! x X .ff Q S !
