Junior Play The junior class play, Ghostly Quarantine. was presented October 21. This mystery-comedy. set in a spooky, old Southern mansion inherited by young William Harrison, abounded in mystery. superstition, and horror. There was, however. a dash of humor here and there to lighten the more gruesome aspects of the whole thing. There was an opportunity for a variety of charac- terizations including a withered, toothless, old housekeeper, a jittery young Negro, a dark and sinister Creole doctor, a poetic, educated tramp, all of whom were in distinct contrast to the straight characters. To add to the weirdness of it all, a thunderstorm broke loose in all its fury, the lights went off, a fiery cross appeared and white-clad ligures were seen to parade past the window.
