Maroon Mirror 'Staff At the beginning of the year. it was decided to have the entire school rep- resented on the staff of the school paper rather than just the juniors and seniors as previously done. A paper was passed among the students and those inter- ested in being on the staff signed their names. At the first meeting of the staff, the staff members were elected. Helen Bluhm was chosen as editor-in-chief and Danny Freeman as her assistant. The editor and her assistant made assignments to each member of the staff and the publishing of the Maroon Mirror began. The staff met on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of the first week of each month in order to put the paper out on the second Friday of the month. Sponsored by Miss Gioannini and Miss Nicoson, the staff included the fol- lowing: EditorQHelen Bluhm: Assistant Editor-Danny Freeman: Art- Elvin Mauk, Dorothy Stein, Robert Behrens, Press-Elvin Osterbur, Carl Car- ter, Herbert Bluhm: Feature-Bertie Bradley, Betty Eyestone: Sports-Forrest Danner, Glen Busboom: Proof lrene Aden, Eilene Robbins, Wilma Jacobs: Joke-John Osterbur, Martha Frerichs: F.
