They have worked hard in trying to earn money for various activities such as sending a speciiied group of girls to the Summer Camp, and for buying Home lic. pins. l.ast year they had the honor of sending VVihna .lacobs and NYanda Yiles to their llonle lic. Camp. The girls to be sent to camp this year have not been chosen. Their l'rogram Committee-Betty liyestone, Marilyn Iluls, lietty C. llall, and Clara Putnam-have planned a very interesting program. lt includes ice skating, a sleigh ride, slumber party, a theater party and several others. The Home Tic. Club was first organized in IQ4l under the director, Miss Furst. It was at first called Modern Homemakers, but now it is called the Future Home- makers of America. The 1946 Maroon 21

A. was organized shortly before the second semester. At their second meeting the boys planned several held trips. They planned to go to the University of Illinois to judge various classes of livestock. ,N project tour was planned for the summer months. Nearly all intended to show at the annual F. F. QX. fair in August. .-Xs means of raising money the boys planned to sell seeds and Collect dues. The F. F. A. colors are blue and gold, the blue representing the national blue and the gold representing the golden corn. The F. F. A. motto is: Learning Io do. Doing to learn. Earning to live.
