1' I 4 Cluff Snow Iris Degn Counselor Counselor Zelta Ballinger Dean of Girls Our competent dean of girls proved to be indispensable to Ogden High School. Miss Ballinger registered students in specified classes, helped new students adjust to our school, and authorized all absences. She readily understood her girls, and, drawing from past experience, helped solve their problems. Executing her many duties did not prevent our dean from furthering the the activities of the Girls' Association of which she is the chairman. ecmawwl alma Students with problems, personal or scholastic, had the guidance of Iris Degn and Cluff Snow at their disposal. The countless students who visited the counselors, ofhces during the year were given tests to help them with their vocational, college, and scholarship plans. The counselors' doors were always open to any student seeking advice or information. Through their qualiiied assistance, students became better adjusted to Cgden High School.

They then transmitted their decisions to the remaining faculty members. Recording absences, selling books, and numerous other duties filled the busy days of our office staff.
