School which was lafe in opening, operafed on a half-'lime basis so fha? sfudenfs and feachers could aid in harvesf ing and canning crops . . . Requesfs for scrap mefal, fin cans, presenfs and books for soldiers, Red Cross confribufions, sfamps and bonds have been mef cheerfully. Hundreds of sfudenfs have worked on a parf-'lime basis. Vacafions and social acfivifies have given way fo more essenfial work . . .
