Sports, parties, contests, both mental and physical, jolly friends-all have made the stay seem very transient. But, recently they have received orders to sail from this old port of Youth and Gayety for the long cruise of l.ife. The sailors are reluctant to leave this old harbor with its precious aissociations. yet Duty calls and a prompt, Aye, Aye, sir, is the answer. Un May 27, 1916, the crew, three hundred seventy-five strong, will shove ol? from shore and steer into the tracliless sen, with only .1 chart and four brief years of training to guide them. The writers will often be stormy. Hidden rocks and shoals will deceive and disin.ix' themg yet, on they will sail, seeking out the tiurtherniost seas, gain.- ing knowledge of lands and customs far beyond the honie porti The years will pass.
