Hazel Nelson 85 Thelma Spicer Si, Senoritau or Veni, Vidi, Viei means xi-ery little to most of us, but they're familiar terms to Hazel Nelson's Spanish and Latin students. A sponsor for J. C. L. and Spanish Club, Miss Nelson also teaches what nobody else wants . One of the best high sehool li- braries in the state is the reputation Thelma Spicer, OHS librarian, has built for OHS's library. Miss Spie- er's intricate and well cataloged files yield material on almost any subject. H -sf COMMERCIAL Leta Montz and Marie Teisinger comprise the OHS CUllllllCl'C'l2ll dc- pzirtment. Miss Montz, besides tezivli- ing bookkeeping, business luw, solid geometry, and advanced zilgebrzi, zil- so takes care of the high school books. Miss Teisinger teaches sen'- reterial training, sliortlmnd, and typ- ing and is the advisor for the Secre- tarial Club.

Hoover Om-lwein's Outstanding Young Man ol' the Year is OHS's principal. Re- spevted by all as an able educator and a helpful friend, Mr. Hoover has been principal at OHS for four years. Music Jack Pctermann and Russ Wittmer, vocal and instrumental music in- structors, provide a varied music program at OHS. Groups, ensem- blcs, and private lessons are avail- able l'or those who want them. At least two concerts are presented by cacli instructor during the year, and students enter local and state contests. 3 .f QM? -M-rt Physical Education Athletic Director Chuck Joss con- fers With Nancy Janssen, girls physical education instructor, and Cy Bellock, wrestling coach. Mr. Joss coaches varsity football and fresh-soph basketball and is an O Club sponsor. Miss Janssen is GAA advisor and cheerleader sponsor. Mr. Bellock assists Joss with football and the O Club and teaches shop classes and drafting. -,N . Millie Lerdall - Harold Bryant The science ol' homemaking and the science of life-two very important subjects at OHS-are taught by Millie Lerdall and Harold Bryant. Miss Ler- dall, Y-Teen sponsor and homemaking instructor, also teaches adult classes in sewing. Mr. Bryant, biology, physics, and chemistry, is Pep Club and Bi-Phi- Chcm sponsor. .I rb, 9
