Initiation was held on Frdiay by the honorable seniors of '48. A dance followed that evening in honor of the freshmen. The first freshman dance was. held on November 7 in the High School Gym. First Row, Dorothy Wraspir, Delores Freuh, Marvin Fink, Donald Kuest, Howard Lobe, Dorothy Winters, Bernice Lobe. som-ioMoREs , 1 Twenty-three sophomores started the year out by enterihg a float in the Harvest Festival parade and taking first prize. - Class officers for the first semester were president, Marvin Fink, vice pres., Helen Mason, sec., Delores Frueh, treasurer, Howard Lobe, class rep., Dorothy Winters, and reporter, Donna Frank. Miss Gertrude Dedrick is our advisor. Helen Mason, Howard Lobe and Gerald Ott enrolled at the beginning of the year. Helen Mason and James Weber left before the end of the first semester. Second semester class officers were pres., Howard Lobe, vice pres., Don Kuest, sec., Dorothy. Winters, treasurer, Marvin Fink, rep., Delores Frueh and reporter Donna Frank. OniMarch 19 a dance was given with Max and his three jives lending the down beat. Soon again it was time to greet the summer.
