24 ' V: Christmas Brings Both Good Times Christmas drastically alters Odessa High. Sud- denly there is anticipation of holiday parties, fun, and best ot all, enough time to sleep late. The general pervading attitude of students and teachers becomes a bit friendlier. Activities' cheer baskets are slowly filled with canned food in hopes that the sophomore class will award them the best cheer basket prize. Dress- up day and the parting Christmas assembly are part of the custom of Odessa High at Christmas time. The highlight of the Christmas activities each year is the All School Prom which is always scheduled prior to the Christmas holidays.
