This problem relates directly to the apparent inability of man to live harmoniously with his fellow man. Study and advancement in the field of human relations has not kept stride with the tremendous advancements in science and technology. In fact, we as a people were catapulted into an era of spectular scientific and technological developments for which we were completely unprepared psychologically. We therefore, have been unable in such a short time to grasp the full significance of these developments and to readjust socially to these rapidly changing conditions. I am confident that you as individuals and as a group realize the full significance of this problem and will ultimately find the solution and thereby pave the way for those who are to follow.
