We have learned much-not only from books but from experiences also. This year we have felt stronger than ever before the comradeship that goes with being a part of a class. We began the year by electing as our class officers Weldon Holley, Pete Wheeler, and Jackie Melton, and as our sponsors Mrs. Rodgers and Mr. Alcorn. All have done a wonderful job. As a class we were host at the Junior-Senior Prom. We printed the student directories, served at banquets, ushered at games, and took part in many other activities. We are looking forward to being Seniors and possessing the advantages of Seniors, but we shall never forget the happy days we spent as Juniors. Perhaps we Sophomores are the lowest forms of human life, but now even our superiors are beginning to feel the impact we made as we entered O.H.S. A larger class has never at- tended school here. Neither can any other class claim the energy and ability to do things right that we, the Sophomores, do. Our offi- cers, Swain Adams, Don Debenport, and Har- lean Duncan, are capable of doing any task that is set before them. We are also very fond of our sponsors, Mrs. Carter and Mr. Acker. They are doing wonderful jobs. Soon we will climb the steps of knowledge that lead to higher education and to the wanted success. As a passing thought to you students who follow us, we want you to know that O.H.S. is a grand place. Have great respect for the faculty, honor your heroes, and be loyal to your school.
