I My . li 172 5 LJ - V Class Prophecy While we are roaring down the road in our Jet driven car in the year of 1962 we are stopped by a state patrolman for speeding However our violation 1S d1sm1ssed as the patrolman is our old friend and classmate Eldon Payne Eldon has been serv1ng with the Nebraska State Patrol Service s1nce 1956 Eight years later we visit West Point Academy While wandermg around we spy a grouchy old sergeant who 1S drilling h1s troops We become 1nqu1s1t1ve and ask who he we find much to our surprise that we once more have come across our old Odessa High School graduate Eldon Payne We are informed that he has just been promoted to a master sergeant and is doing quite well in the United States Army In the year of 1980 we find that Eldon has been sentenced to S1ng Sing Prison for desert1ng the United States Army He serves seventeen minutes and proves h1mself to be the best escape artist since Houdini He not only gets out of his cell but he escapes completely from the pr1son Six years later he is captured 1n Odessa Nebraska where he had gone to school He is then sentenced to Alacatraz Once aga1n he accomplishes the xmpossible he escapes In the year of 1999 we hear that he 1S do1ng very well with his gold mine in Alaska H15 wealth 13 estimated at S5699 O99 000 At th1s point our Jet car develops gear trouble and we Shlft into reverse and back up to 1955 11 is. . .
