On December 14, 1936, Cliff Marlatt received his 5 . V I . I fifth surprise, another boy. Iwas christened Kenneth Dixon. At this time we were living four miles south and a half east of Odessa. At the age of five, I entered the first grade at Cottonwood school, District Three, in Phelps County. I spent seven years there, andl enrolled in the Odessa school where I am finishing my high school education. Among my school activities, sports have always Swim, been my highlight.
