club prepares women The Odessa College Home-Economics Club encouraged professionalism and further prepared the student to take her place as a responsible member of society. Program and welfare projects were based upon the plan of action in the Texas Home-Economics Association. Club activities includ- ed study of the consumer, aiding the handicapped and a Texas Home-Economics Association Meeting Convention in Dallas. Officers for the year were president - Cynthia Bars, first vice-president - Vickie Mann, second vice-president -- Karla Wadsworth, secretary - Shelia Hudnell, treasurer - Patsy Monroe, reporter and I.C.C. representative - Lou Carter, parliamentarian - Eltha Essary, historian - Susie Thigpen.
