Randall Reves Leigha Dopita Facultg Selects Dozen For Who's Who Honor The Who's Who section consists of the twelve students whom the faculty considers to have best followed the Odessa College Pipeline to education. Overall contributions to the college, responsible attitude and educational achievement were the main factors in selecting them. Randall Reves, Phi Theta Kappa president, was chosen. Randall competes with the gymnastics team and is a Bio-Chemistry major. Leigha Dopita, another student receiving the honor, is a biology ma- jor and serves as secretary of Phi Theta Kappa. Also selected was Ar- thur Yarish from Midland whose major is banking and finance. Pete Stewart was nominated, and is president of the TSET, vice president of the Student Council, and a member of the track team. Pete was chosen by the student body as Mr. OC. Also among the nominees was Diana Marshall, president of the Inter-Club Council, member of Phi Theta Kappa, and Phi Rho Pi member. A speech major, Diana won the First Speaker Award at the Abilene Christian College debate tour- ney. Also honored was Evie Kasson who serves as reporter for the Stu- dent Council and treasurer for Phi Theta Kappa. Evie was a nominee for Homecoming Queen and participates in forensic competition. Chris Acreman, a sophomore engineering major, was also a re- cipient of the award. Paul deMesquita, president of the Newman Club and captain of the tennis team, was among the nominees. Pre-Med major, Mike Halbrook was also selected by the faculty. Mike is a mem- ber of Phi Theta Kappa and the American Chemical Society. Patsy Rippy, a competitor in the pre-olympics this fall and captain of the women's tennis team, was another honoree. Drama major, Darla Dar- Ville who participates in forensics, BSU, and the Shakespeare Club was also selected. Rickey' Stillwell who is president of the Student Council and Phi Theta Kappa member completes the list of those chosen for Who's Who.
