Spring semester president, Clifford Mr'Millian pri-- i P it t Highlighting the year for the newly-organized Mu Sigma Chi cluh were a convention and a dance both held during the spring semester. The primary ohjcctive of the organization is to promote man- agement principles and practices. Composed of students of the new mid-management program at OC, Mu Sigma Chi met on the first and third Tuesdays ol each month during activity period. Mid-management instructor-di rector Sid Streichcr sponsored the group in its successful first year. Edgar Sanderson led Mu Sig- ma Chi as president assisted by Clifford lVIcMillian, vice president. Provides. Enjogable Recreation Amazons competing with one another in feats of physical strength at OC? Perhaps the girls who make up the Womenis Recreation Association might be deemed the OC Amazons as they participated in many co-ed activities throughout the year. Other students were encouraged to join in the fun of playing table tennis, badminton. basketball, powder-puff football, softball, tennis and volleyball. The primary object of the WRA activities was to provide recreation and to teach good sportsmanship to college women. Members may be either physical education majors or non-major freshmen or sophomore college women. President Connie Stotts was assisted by lane Bastanchury, vice president. Gail Sykes served as secretary-treasurer while Susan Moore was historian. Reporter was Cici Arroyog Martha Wilkinson was point recorder. Sponsoring the group were Virginia Brown and Rosie Ramos who are both physical education instructors. Connie Stotts, WRA president, dribbles the ball down the court pursued by Ian Schulte.
