Autumn Asedo Functions Add Zing to College Life Dances, rush teas, initiation and the formal presentation of new members comprised the major social activities of the club this year. One of the many service projects sponsored by the group was the annual spring presentation of a scholarship to a deserving college woman. Not all the benefits derived from the Asedo organization were social and service, however. The objectives of the club included the encouragement of a high standard of social life within the college, sound scholarship, loyalty, school spirit and service to the College community. Trudy Waldron in the presidential ollice was assisted by Vice President Claire Cagiano. The secretarial post was amply filled by Anna Dennis, while Pat Trott served as treasurer. Imogene Vaught, head advisor, received support from fellow sponsors, Delores Behrens, Ethelston Chapman, Don Huff, Aaron Bautch, Charles Lawson and Joe DePasqual. Campus Improvements Among the most active clubs on campus is Circle K whose activities encompass a wide range of promotional activities for Odessa College. Club projects include aiding in college and civic work and helping build good citizenship in its members. Among the events which Circle K sponsors are the annual Western Week activities, the bonfire which kicks off Homecoming festivities, and aiding with the voter-registration drive during the spring semester registration. Serving as president of the organization was Mickeypwilson, with Kenney Ross acting as sergeant-at-arms and John Pearcy as l.C.C. representative.
