TAMMY SUE WICKHAM Dec. 4, 1965—June 11, 1984 Our True Friend Has Left Us... Why? I can't answer that, no one can. Tammy was all heart. I remember her once saying, This isn't gonna stop me. I'm gonna keep going cause I wanna live. I want to be here forever. I looked at her, my eyes swollen with tears, saying to myself, You will live, always, because you've got a dream to share with the rest of us who take life for granted. When I look back on all the memories we shared, I realized what a gift she gave me. She taught me to love now, Don't wait until it's too late, Tell that person you care. I remember saying endlessly to her and myself, You'll make it, and don’t worry, I’ll be right here when you come back. Remember, hold on, don’t let go. You'll come out just fine, feeling like a champ. I think about the gift the doctors gave Tammy and thank them for making her able to share six more years of her life with us. I know Tammy loved sharing it with us, even if some of us didn't understand her delicate and very serious problem. Tammy said, I will live. And she does live, In my heart and in the hearts of others that she has touched on her short journey through life. by JoAnn Coates MEMORIAL 5

The 1985 Odessanean Proudly Presents This Yearbook To .. . Mrs. Edith Gaige Mrs. Gaige, thank you for all of your unflagging dedication to the student body of Odessa-Montour. We know you've had a tough job trying to teach us about French and Spanish language and culture, and we appreciate it very much. It's hard trying to bring another world to O-M and you've done a magnificent job over the years. We hope that you'll enjoy your retirement even though we think you are too young to retire. We'll be thinking about you in the Fall of 1985 when we come back to school and you'll be out on the farm in Cayutaville enjoying all of the beauty of Schuyler County. We hope that you'll also be planning trips to Europe, one of your favorite past times. So, the Staff and Student Body say, Thank You and enjoy your many long years to come. 4 DEDICATION
