Girls Basketball On November 12, the OMCS Girls Basketball team commenced the beginning of a new season under the leadership of Coach Williams once again. The girls practices started out with running what seemed to be endless laps around the gym and sprints to prepare for another fine season. The girls started off their season with two wins over Corning East and Notre Dame to bring their winning streak to 41 until losing their first game to Class A Vestal when they were invited to the Delhi Christmas tournament in December. The girls had a 6-6 record with many more games ahead this season. The girls don't play the sisters of the poor, you know” and aren't afraid to take a challenge. The highlight of the season which turned their record around to a winning one was their upset over Dryden 50-45. There were also many good times that the girls will always remember.
