our minds expanding . (Table uf (Contents 5 3f rank IBrofon An individual possessing such a superior musical talent and jovial personality deserves the admiration and respect found in the eyes of all who look upon him. A perfectionist, he has led numerous bands in the past on to straight “A” ratings in competition. Because of his consistent determination, OMCS has always had the privilege to boast of excellent concert bands. Musical inspiration is found in half-time football shows, while a pleasing wit, appealing to persons of all ages, surrounds his captivating character. But knowing full well when he means business, band members strive to please this man who has inspired in them the sense of this art, music. 1970 comes upon us, and we must lose an unparalleled man and teacher. With profound feelings of gratitude and sadness, we sincerely dedicate Odessanean 1970 to you, Mr. Brown. 7 Administration and (Thr rlosr of this decade, the birth of the next Ulrt to our teachers education is ctrrnal Board of Education and Principals Sitting: Lou Sand, Dclmar Bleiler. For some, they will be facing another year of high school. For others there will be a whole new way of life—be it in college or starting out in a job. No matter what the new year and decade holds—I hope it brings happiness and success to all. Working on the yearbook this year has been a memorable experience. It involved many and various decisions and plenty of work. I feel that it has been worth it however, and I’m sure my editorial staff agrees with me. Many thanks are extended to Cindy Tague—my Associate-Editor-in-Chief, Nancy Norton—my Theme Editor, and Paula Sand—my CTayout Editor. Many thanks go to you—Mr. Scaptura—for all of the help and advice you gave us this year. Thanks again to all of you and also to my whole staff. Good luck to all of you. especially to my classmates, the class of 1970. May God Bless you all. Editor-in-Chief 1970 ODESSANEAN
