At Christmas time they became big-hearted and decided to give a gift to an needy Schuyler County family! Class rings arrived! What a busy day for the Juniors! After Easter the Juniors became candy salesmen, thereby relieving the “wealthy” Seniors of this daily task. However, the Juniors were anxious to add this to their class treasury. The following girls were chosen to represent our school at Girls’ State: Jacqueline Plate, and Darlene Williams. Boys who attended Boys’ State were: Edward Dunn, Gerald Crainey, Robert Woodford, William Lattin, Jerry Burris, and Bruce Misner. 15
