Sports Develop Citizenship At the beginning of our Intramural season the boys enjoyed football and touch-football. As winter approached, it was plain to see that the Seniors were to win the football playoffs, while the Freshmen were victorious in touch-football. Players were: Football — R. Babcock F. Swader D. Burris R. Shultz M. Bischoff M. Beebe Touch-Football — R. Cole C. Cole L. Haller F. Grover G. Craver D. Breckinridge B. Lewis F. Goodrich D. Weed Table Tennis gave our school many exciting games. The winners were: Singles — R. Babcock Doubles — J. Drake, R. Decker Badminton, played along with T able I ennis, yielded the following winners: Singles — V. Kotmel Doubles — F. Bleiler. M. Nickerson Another Intramural enjoyed by the high school boys was Basketball. 1 he winners of the games were the following Seniors: R. Babcock M. Bischoff D. Burris S. Bush R. Pipher F. Swader E. Sensei R. Shultz R. Salyer Our school has a right to be proud of William Lattin, who won the foul-shooting contest by making 23 out of 25 shots at the All-Star game. Athletes Prove Their Prowess While our FOOTBALL TEAM won only one game this present season, the spirit of the team and students was exceptionally fine.
