Sports Develop Citizenship At the beginning of our Intramural season the boys enjoyed football and touch-football. As winter approached, it was plain to see that the Seniors were to win the football playoffs, while the Freshmen were victorious in touch-football. Players were: Football — R. Babcock F. Swader D. Burris R. Shultz M. Bischoff M. Beebe Touch-Football — R. Cole C. Cole L. Haller F. Grover G. Craver D. Breckinridge B. Lewis F. Goodrich D. Weed Table Tennis gave our school many exciting games. The winners were: Singles — R. Babcock Doubles — J. Drake, R. Decker Badminton, played along with T able I ennis, yielded the following winners: Singles — V. Kotmel Doubles — F. Bleiler. M. Nickerson Another Intramural enjoyed by the high school boys was Basketball. 1 he winners of the games were the following Seniors: R. Babcock M. Bischoff D. Burris S. Bush R. Pipher F. Swader E. Sensei R. Shultz R. Salyer Our school has a right to be proud of William Lattin, who won the foul-shooting contest by making 23 out of 25 shots at the All-Star game. After Basketball Intramurals came Volleyball. Again the Seniors came out ahead with the following team members: R. Babcock M. Beebe A. Cole T. Couch M. Nickerson D. Wheeler D. Decker R. Salyer 31

Athletes Prove Their Prowess While our FOOTBALL TEAM won only one game this present season, the spirit of the team and students was exceptionally fine.
