CLASS HlSTORY ln the fall of '35 our class started on a flight through the land of knowledge ln the Plane Odell Hi. we were honored to have with us four spec- ial passengers: Mr. Dale Perry, Mlss Dorothy Anderson, Mr. 'Sheldon Lawrence, and Mrs. Martha McKeown. Pilotu Jean Newman and Co- pllot Vlvlenne Hango brought us safely thro- ugh the first of our four year expeditions. we started on our second year flight in the fall of '56 with Junior Ogden Pilot and Lorene Thompson as CohPilot. Mr. Blanchard, Mrs. Frances Moller, Miss Marjorie Maxwell, and Mr. Gene lnskeep accompanied us. During this trip three of our passengers left us to board the plane. Hood River Hl. They were Lorene Thompson and Vivienne and Arlove Han- go. we landed in May to refuel and rest be- fore our third trip. On this trip Pilot Rena Allison and Co-Pilot Kenneth Kirby were ln command. Mrs. Moller, Miss Maxwell, and Mr. Blanchard remained with us and Mr. wlll- lam Jones joined our party. Junior Coffey and Warren Harding of Missouri and Montana and Donald Rrlvely of Iowa joined our crew durlng the first of the trip. On April 1, Mr. Jones fooled us by gettlng married to Mrs. Zbeber, but he remained on our plane. We landed at the usual time ln May before starting our fourth last and most glorious flight. Kenneth Klrby as Pllot and Everette Hawthorne as Co-Pilot led a very successful year. Mr. wayne McMurray and'Mlss Katherine Konrad joined us, taking Mr. Blanchard's and Miss Maxwellls places. Erma McGarvin and Alvin Beers left us, and June Coffey from Mlssouri joined us.. These four years have been ones we shall never forget, and ones that will always hold a big part in our future lives.
