'I Here we are the sophomore class of l952l And uf anyone cares the gurls outnum ber the boys 2 l lt can truly be saud that the sophomores of 52 have taken part un all school actuvutues We were represented un football basketball and track More than half the class played un the band and sang un the glee clubs and muxed chorus Many of us were un small vocal and unstrumenta' groups and several went out for solo work Besudes these others partucupated un declarn work Our offucers for the furst semester were Dale and Dean The Ruchardson Boys as FRESHMAN Wuth 53 members the class of 55 be gan uts hugh school years wuth Mr Potter as sponsor The followung have been the class offu cers FIRST SEMESTER SECOND SEMESTER Muruam Yourugren Presudent Douglas Herrug Marulyn Landgraf Vuce Presudent Marulyn Landgraf Secretary Darrell Brown Treasurer Ronald McGonugle We have had two class partues The furst semester we had a scavenger hunt and the PACE TWENTY presudent and vuce presudent respectuvely and Januce Godbersen as secretary treasurer Wuth tne help of tne rest of the class these three were largely responsuble for tne nearly S200 made sellung refreshments at the basketball tournament The second semester we were led by Nancy Rector presudent Morulyn Schultz vuce presudent and Donna Lunden secretary treasurer Our class sponsor was Coach Mc Laughlun We held a very successful skatung party at Denuson and enuoyed lots of fun un our furst year un Senuor Hugh and are lookung forward to our uunuor year CLASS second semester a skatung party at the Ida Grove Roller Runk Both of these partues were successful and we had a lot of fun at them We have been well represented un Jun uor hugh and Hugh school athletuc events and have done our part un both vocal and unstru mental musuc We also had a few members who partucupated un declamotory work We are lookung forward to next fall when we move out of our present quarters unto the hugh school buuldung Remember gust three more years and you ll be seeung us graduate
