We have contributed to all of the extra curricular activities of O. H. S. ln athletics the boys were letter winners in football, basketball, and track, while the girls excelled in soft' ball and basketball. We were also represented in declamatory work. One member of our class was chosen to be on the WNAX Forum. We were outstanding in the music field-participants in marching band, concert band, glee clubs, mixed chorus, and many small ensembles. Seven of our group were soloists. We were the second senior class to attend Career Day in Sac City, which was sponsored by the County Board of Education. There We listened to many interesting discussions and lectures on various careers. Our Skip Day, May 13, took us to Ames where we enjoyed High School Day, a part of the Veishea weekend festival. This '49 TROIAN, to be issued on Class Day, May 20, has been our major project this year. Class Day closes our school days in Odebolt High, and as we leave, We carry with us many fond memories of our school days. To our underclassmen, we wish all success possible, and sin' cerely hope that they also store up many treasures -during their ldays in O. H. S.
