Masaya Okazaki Masaya came to Odebolt from Japan. He spent the 1986-87 school year as a for- eign exchange student at OA. He was involved in Football, Wrestling, and Track. In the play, Harvey, he was cast as a cab driver who convinced everyone that being crazy was not that bad. The best thing that he will remember about this year is meeting new friends. Jyrki Seppanen Jyrki came to Odebolt from Finland. He participated in Basketball, and Track. Jyrki escorted the kindergarten atten- dants at Homecoming. M. Okazaki Javier Bernal Diaz Javier spent the year in Odebolt, far away from his home in Colombia. He was involved in Football, Track, and the Trojan Triumph. Javier loved to draw pictures for the newspaper every week. He also liked to take photographs. He will be remembered for being so much fun. Rachel Evans Rachel was a foreign exchange student in Australia during 1986. She was involved in the city band and the school maga- zine. Swimming and giving many speeches to various audiences kept her busy in her spare time. She had a lot of fun and learned many things. She espe- cially remembers the crazy times she had driving around Melbourne all night. 20
