HOMECOMING October found the Student Council making ready for Homecoming and the students eager to participate in its ac- tivities, At the close of school on October 4 the band set the pace for the royal party and the student body to parade from the school to the business section for a spirited pep meeting. The crowning ceremonies accompanied by the Odebolt Marching Band started the evening's festivities, Superintendent Ogden opened the sealed envelope containing the names of the fortunate young couple. Dean Johnson and Sandra Higby reigned as King and Queen with their royal princesses-Diane Bengford, Travis Lamons, Marilyn Lange, and Janette Youngren, and the royal princes-Dennis Bengford, Ralph Cowlham, Ronald Hague and Richard Thayer. The crowns were carried on satin polliws by kindergarten attendants Susan Watts and Steven Sundell. The Trojans made the evening more successful by defeating Correctionville I9 to O. A dance in the gymnasium was sponsored by the alumni.
