No more will we have to walk up and down the old wooden flights of stairs, we will pace through polished corridors to reach our classes and rehearsals. Gone will be the sight of students shivering from the cold walk between buildings. The second graders will no longer recite to the accompaniment from the music room below. The new music room will be soundproof. But we have some fond memories of this structure which has served us so well. Here we have our roots, here we first learned to write, read, and get along with others, here whole new worlds opened to us through our histories and geographies. Yes, we have our memories, good and bad, but in order to retain a more permanent record, we, the class of l957 have prepared this yearbook. We hope, that by this means we may make remembronces of O. H. S. more precious and more enduring. --three-
