The student body then marched downtown to display their enthusiasm to the businessmen and patrons. At the game in the evening Audrey Cowlham and Othel Johnson were crowned Queen and King of '56. The Royal Court consisted of Gloria Girvan, Nancy Neville, Judy Ogden, Bonnie Snyder, Jim l-loward, Grant Langle, Clifford Schroeder, and Don Taylor. All Seniors, they were elected by popular vote. Crown bearers were Dean Bengford and Sharon Gronemeyer. Moville didn't quite succeed in dousing our good spirits since the evening was successfully climaxed by a homecoming dance in the gym to the music of Johnny Galvin, Credit is due to the marching ban-d and the committee in charge, who spent long hours in preparation for the event.
