SKIP DAY Thirty-five Seniors, accompanied by class sponsors Berg and Shaw, and all a bit sleepy after a night-long train ride, arrived at Chicago's Northwestern Railway Station on Monday morning, May l3. From there they were whirled oft to see the sights of the Windy City, which included the Museum of Science and lndustry, Museum of Natural History, Lincoln Park Zoo, Chinatown, Hull l-louse, Madison Street Skid Row, Grant Park, Midway Ploisance, University of Chicago Campus, downtown financial and theatrical districts, State Street, and Chicago's famous skyline as viewed from Lake Shore Drive. Their meals were provided at the Gateway Restaurant of the Northwestern Station. Worn out from the very full day of sight-seeing, souvenir hunting, and picture taking, the Seniors went to sleep promptly on the return trip. Susan, her eighteen- year-old daughter, is very much against the plan, but Abby sees no other way to obtain money to see her daughter through college, lt isn't until they reach Pointer, however, that the fun begins. Bobo Jackson, campus big-shot, and his young friends are smitten with Abby's mature beauty, much to the dismay of Susan and her friends. To top it all, Abby becomes romantically involved with Professor Michaels, idol of all the girls on campus and particular friend of Susan Abbott. Susan is determined to break up the romance and disapproving Dean Gillingham, who suspects a publicity stunt, is determined to expel Abby from Pointer. Many amusing situations result and the solution is a charming one.

vias? JUNIGR - SENIOR BANQUET Friday, April 26, the Juniors, Seniors and faculty members w ere escorted by elves and prixies into an enchanting land of make-believe. Multi-colored cardboard butterflies fluttered from the blue crepe-paper sky, and jolly cardboard elves cavorted in a game of leap-frog over toad stools. Organ music by a good fairy lRosalie Neutzmanl was enjoyed throughout the fairyland supper, and, to make the fantasy complete, there was a wishing well. The elves and prixies served their honored guests well, because soon everyone was replete and well-content. An evening of enter- tainment, the fairy queen lSandra Higbyl announced, was then in store for them. A royal command performance was given by some little people from fairyland. The fairy queen then decree-d a royal ball and everyone danced to the music of the Rhythm Hawks from Ida Grove. But finally the clock struck twelve and the guests were forced to come back to earth. They left with a little fairyland Stardust still clingin to th d - g em an the memory of that delightful evening will remain with them for a long time, -eighteen-
