Basketball The l987-l988 Girls Varsity Basketball team practiced for long and hard hours to improve their game. Most of their practice is on their own time not during school. We appreciate their dedication and overall commitment to the game. The Lady War- riors are truly an improving team. V Basketball The 1987-88 Boys' Basketball team gave an excellent performance. They put in many hours of hard practice and preparation. Playing to their best ability, the team had great results. Their record is terrific and they made us proud. Not only did they do great in their regular season, they also did great in the toumaments. In the sub-region tournament, the Warriors played North Gwinett winning 63-60. They also played Duluth, beating them 70-64 making them the sub-region champs, Now the Warriors were off to the region tournament. First they played Gilmer winning once again 74- 65. They then played East Hall and lost 6l- 88. Even though they lost the Warriors went to state playing Grady and lost 55-56. Also this season Coach Cooper Dyer achieved his 200th win in the last regular season game against Loganville. l.
