SENIOR PLAY On March 19, 1948, the Senior Class presented the three act farce, ln Again! Out Againf, at the Ocina auditorium. The scene was Mr. and Mrs. Quick's rooming house. Mr. Quick was a very high tempered man who was always quarreling with his neighbor, Mr. Niggins. Mrs. Quick was a ruler of her house, and seemed to manage things nicely until her daughter Candy, brought her classmate home with her. Honey, Candy's girl friend, had fallen in love at sight with a man on the train. The situation was complicated by Honey s engagement to Henry Hall her Aunt Dodie s choice Honey felt confident that she could cope with any situation She persuaded Candy to ask Noah W iggins to pose as Honey s husband so Henry would leave Noah and Candy were secretly married because of the old feud between their fathers Everything went very smoothly until the Professor who Honey had met on the train appeared while she was introducing Noah as her husband Aunt Dodie came after receiving a telegram from Henry She was very much dlsturbed and demanded an explanation of Honey s broken engagement to Henry Then who should appear but Lynn Lane the night club entertainer who is in love with Henry The Professor collected things from Egypt and when an Egyptian dancing girl appeared everyone seemed to think she was part of his collection He was greatly relieved when the girl dressed as the dancer told that she was being initiated into a club at the college and this was part of the initiation She couldn t speak until she was asked directly W ho are you The farce ended with Aunt Dodie realizing what a boy Henry really was Honey and the Professor being happily in love Candy telling her parents that she and Noah Wiggins are married and Mrs Quick holding her husband in the chair because of his threat to kill Noah CHARACTERS Mrs Quick who runs a rooming house Glenna Smith Waldo Quick her hard hearing husband Marvin Smith Almira the maid Georgia Baca Candy daughter of the Quicks Imogene N ayfield Honey Candy s girl friend Bonnie Johnson Noah iggms a neighbor Charles Tatyrek Henry Hall, a business man Thomas Smoot Aunt Dodie Honey s wealthy aunt Billie Berry Lynn Lane a model Dorothy Bell Ruth a college girl Jean Horne Dr Hattie Honk a chiropractor Thelma West Sponsor Mr Hagel' Stage Directors Lou Ella Stafford Bill Henson J I Killian . . . , . , I . , I , .
