41. AW, Ye- '-xx Q: , S FBESHMEN INITIATION Every year we have a little fun with the greenies of high school. This year the seniors decided on a little variety, for each freshman had on a different attire. we are sure the freshmen dreaded the very thought of lt, but yet not a one would exchange the fun they had for anything. There was a little start- er from 8:30 til 9:00, but 2:15 was the time when they really gave us the show. There were all kinds of acts, such as three freshmen girls singing 'Old Black Joen with their mouths full of crackers. They couldn't complain because they had a piano accompaniment, but it seemed the only thing she knew how to do was just hit any key Koff or on pitchl. The freshmen carried out sen1ors'commands until 3:30. Then they could run for shelter, and away from sight. I'm sure the teachers all enjoyed classes that day, because they not only taught people but also a few mice which seemed to drag right along with a few freshmen girls. Also in attendance were Marilyn Monroe CPearce Konoldb and of course, cupid CDale Worrickl. There was a little rule all day Kthat is, whenever a se ior decided? that any freshman meeting a senior had to get down on his knees and say this 11ttle verse: 'Senior Dear I now will bow For I remind you of a cow And now dear senior as we say We love you as we crawl away.' That night there was an all-high school party, welcoming the freshmen to Ocheyedan High. The evening was begun with a little entertainment by the freshmen. This ended with a bang, and I do mean bang. CBelt 11neD. Party games were playedg then a lunch served by the seniors ended the day. Once again our annual freshmen recognition day was over. 3 W.: F A X 3 4 J
