Of Our Community It is with a feeling of sincere gratitude that we, the graduates, dedicate The 1956 Spindrift to you, the people of the Oceanside School District, on the occasion of the erection of our new high school. We sincerely hope that through the years the young people who pass through its halls will look upon it as a treasure as we have during this — its initial year. May we always carry in our minds and hearts the traditionally sound philosophy and love of ethical values that have been nurtured during our happy days at Oceanside High School.

Its members have given unselfishly of their time and energy to plan and to bring into being our magnificent new building with all its modern facilities.
