The Talking “Things.” Under the direction of fine officers and wonderful advisors, the Senior Class activities for the class of 1949 were completed. In September came Senior-Sophomore Day. This was followed by the presentation of the Senior Play entitled “Our Hearts Were Young and Gay.” In February all the talent of the Senior Class was combined into a very successful talent show. The following months contained planning and hard work for the Senior Prom which featured an “underwater” theme. Then in June the big moment arrives as we, the seniors, graduate from high school leaving many memories and friendship ties. Bob Burtis conducting a class meeting. Seniors first! 13
