Last Will and Testament W'e, the Senior Class of nineteen hundred and forty-seven of Oceana High School, being of our usual unsound minds, do make, publish, and declare this our Last Will and Testament. SEeT1oN I. To Ihr .'fIfIIlfI1f.f17'lllf0ll.' ITEM I-'l'o our School Board and our Superintendent, we leave our thanks, for not requiring us to complete twelve years of school. I'I'l-IM ll-'I'o our Principal, we leave our sincere gratitude for his guidance through the past four years. We hope that he will forgive us for the small misdemeanors which we committed trying to make school more exciting. ITEM Ill-'I'o the members of our beloved faculty, who look upon our departure with smiles ofjoy and signs of relief, we leave our greatest sympathy for their gallant attempts to pour knowledge into our feeble minds. We hope they have the satisfaction uf knowing that at least we tried to learn. SECTIUN I. To ilu' Clr1.f.n'.f.' ITEM I-To the cute li'l eighth graders, we leave our knowledge of places to get chewing um so the won't have to scra e u their own. We also leave our talent for hidin be- g. ITEM II-To the eighth grade boys, we leave our wheaties and milk, so they, too, can make the football team and be like Lanky .-Xllen and Dave Kunkler. ITEM III-To the Sophomore class, we leave our tendency to make a little knowledge suffice in the classroom, may this get them into the Beta Club. To them, we leave also our school spirit and pep, with the right to terrorize the opposing teams with their yells. We hope that they do their best to keep things stirred up, remembering a little noise helps our team win. To them we leave our priority in the halls, we dare anyone tu get in their way. ITEM IV-'I'o the Sophomore girls, we leave our position as glamour girls ofOceana. ITEM V-'I'o the junior class, we leave our seats in the assembly, our dignified position as seniors, our privileges IPJ, and our textbooks with their many helpful notes. SEcTloN Ill. ITEM XI.-Rosemary Kernan and Pat Mclean leave their long winded conversations to Dot Spence and Helen Stone. ITEM XI.I-Billy Garrison leaves his secret of how to take plane and solid geometry in the same year, to all the poor geometry students who need ir.
