QUEEN OF COURTS Ocean View once again had its tradi- tional Queen of Courts ceremony. It highlighted our winning basketball season, and was a big success. During halftime in our game against Westminster High, the crowning of King and Queen took place. Earlier in a pep rally during the day, our underclassmen royalty was established. The freshman nominees for princess were Shannon Chancy, Casset Smith, and Erin Stansbury. The princess was Shannon Chancy. Freshman nominees for prince were D.C. Andrews, Mike Fitzgerald, Mike Frohn, Robby Haugen, and Loren Stassort. The winner was D.C. Andrews. For sophomore princess, Trisha Cook, Michelle Hansen and Jennifer Mueller were nominated. The princess was Trisha Cook. Sophomore prince nominees were Marcello Danze, Tom Dawes, and Gerry Santos. Marcello Danze was voted prince. Junior princess nominees were Krystal Kowalcyk, Kristen Twedt, and Alisha Watson. The princess was Kristen Twedt. For junior prince Jim Anderson, Geoff Graves. Steve Harris, and Todd Pickard were nominated. Jim Anderson was crowned prince. The nominees for senior queen were Caryn Ainsworth, Stephanie Cor- renti, Dana Douty, Julie Hounsell, and Terri Zanelli. The king nominees were Jeff Darling, Brett Johnson, Tony Pan- zica. Steve Treskes. and Peter Tucker. As the crowning was to take place, jester Steve Hoffman approached the stage and announced that the new king and queen of the 1986 King and Queen of Courts was Julie Hounsell and Jeff Darl- ing. The joyous event was continued as we defeated Westminster. After the game the Queen of Courts dance was held in the commons. IP 66 Queen of Courts
