OV Football Varsity The 1985 Ocean View football t«ara found itself with its most demanding schedule ever. .Seven of Ocean View ' s opponents qualified for the CIF play-offs with Westminster. Marina, and Edison three of the final four in the Big Five Conference play- offs. This year ' s team played every game lough losing a disappoin- ting eight games. Three of those losed were by a total of twelve points. A highlight of the year was the Homecoming victory over rival — Huntington Beach. Coach Gaytan ' s Seahawks seem to be over the hump in turning Ocean View football into a competitive program. Outstanding Seniors for the Seahawks were Jeff Darling — All Sunset League, Sean Fleming — All Sunset League. Marc Ohm — All Sunset League, Russel Trounce — All .Sunset League, and Peter Tucker — All Sunset League. The outlook for the 1986 season is very bright with returning juniors Phil Boxen. Bill Grace.
