1 Winter Semi-Formal his year's Winter Semi-Formal was held on campus in the Ocean View Commons. This exciting event took place on December 9th and went from 8:00 p.m. till 12:00 p.m. As couples ap- proached the quad, they could see the beautiful decorations set up by the Executive Board. Tables were covered with Holiday cloths as candles provided a romantic at- mosphere. Garland was draped from the ceiling to the stage putting everyone into a festive mood. The couples danced to music played by a D.J., The Music Nut. He played all types of music so everyone received a chance to show what they had. Couples were seen doing quite funky dance steps while others tried to 'outbreak' each other. It wasn't unusual to see dates dit- ching each other, especially those girls who spent all their time in either the bathroom or dancing with their girlfriends. Pictures were taken for remembrance of this occasion by Dan Dean or one of the photographers from the Estuary staff. All in all Whispers of Winter was a great success, leaving everyone with a warm feeling for the two week holiday. l.Couples dance to the sounds from the Music Nutt. 2. Boys were seen dancing with boys, 3. The Music Nutt. 4. Richard Smith and his date, Lee Ann Herd- man share moments together. 64 Winter Dance
