9 ,Xe 0 ex STUDENT SENATE REMAINS ORGANIZED he 1983-84 Student Senate played a vital role in our Student Govern- ment. Under the leadership of Chairperson Steve Hanson, this active group was led to glory by remaining organized and in high spirits all year long. The members of Student Senate worked hard in organizing their activities for the year. Their basic functions to act as liaison between the students and faculty. Being in Student Senate is an experience one would not forget. Its leadership gets the students of Ocean View involved with their school.

MUN HAS A REPUTATION AS A WINNER hen it comes to international diplomacy, Ocean Vlew Hlgh School has a reputation as a wlnner. Students in the school's Model United Nations program lived up to that reputation again this year at the national MUN conference held at Harvard University. The committees, like the MUN program itself, are modeled after the real United Nations. Students delegations represent countries and are given a global crlsls, much like those that face the real U.N.
