Construction Causes . . . School began with a bang - that is to say, the hang of ham- mers. Construction and remodel- ing could be seen all over the school. ttWhat happened to the chemis- try lab? thhere's drivers, ediw ttllve never heard of Room 12C? Signs were posted around the halls to help confused students find their Classes. Sophomores Blake Dillman, Donald McNabb, Lon- nie Carroll and Tom McGruder donate summer hours to get the new senior English room painted. Mrs. Victory llmade-do in an old shop area while she waited for the science lab to be remodeled. 4 7 Opening These were common remarks as students tried to find their rooms on Day 1. By Day 2 almost all the confusion had disappeared. By Day 3 everything was normal. Flexible students and teachers ad- justed quickly. 1989 was the year of accreditation and OSHS was ready!
