Jennifer plans to major in marketing or business administration and she may possibly play basketball in college, Deanna Faith Budinich has been a member of the band and a majorette for four years. She is currently a band captain and the head major. ette. She has been a member of the French club for three years and in her junior year she was Vice-President. She is the Student Body Presi- dent and has been a member of the Student Council for the past four years, She is a Girlsh State delegate and was recently nominated for the US. Senate Youth Program. In the future she plans to go to college and major in Broad- casting. She has a part time job but in her spare time, she gives piano lessons. COACH HUGH PEPPER Ocean Springs High School would like to dedicate these pages to Ocean Springs football coach, Hugh Laurin Pepper. Hugh Pepper has always been interested in sports. When he played for Bento'n High, he scored 30 touchdowns his senior year. After graduating from high school, Coach Pepper went to USM, where he earned Little AII-American and Third AII-American honors. He was eventually admitted to the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame. Finishing his college career, Hugh Pepper was drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates, where he played professional baseball for three years. He then played with the minors for seven more years. Pepper walked off the mound for good ancLaccept- ed the job as head coach of the Ocean Springs foot- baii squad in 1964. ' In 1983, he left the coaching position at 0.8. with an outstanding 15344-3 record, which included 27 straight wins his first three seasons. Two yea'rs later, while serving as athletic director, Coach Pepper was asked to come back to coach football.
