 The Monarch oak, the patriarch of the trees, Shoots rising up, and spreads by low degrees, Three centuries he grows, and three he stays Supreme in state: and in three decays. Dryden Under the spreading branches of the famed Ruskin Oak are the Junior Class officers. Lynn Dudley, who served as President with Martha Clark as second in command, was aided by Betty Jo Ray, Secretary; Christine McDougal, Treasurer; and Carolyn Young, Reporter. This year the Juniors found themselves in a brand new school, but they set about to initiate it in the finest OSHS tradition. Walking the halls, one was sure to hear a Junior mentioning one of the coming projects like a bake sale, hobo day, a supper, or the sale of paper footballs before a big game. 28
