9 SENIOR DAY January 14, 1944—Yes, that was THE day for the Seniors, Back to their tender childhood and kid games and pranks they wandered. Despite the rain and cold weather the ten of them roamed to school dressed as kiddies. The five girls wer darling in short dresses and little checked aprons. Big ws of ribbons sat atop -heir flouncing curls, and each rried a huge toy. The boys name as ladies”. Each was attired in a complete ontfii of high heels, dress, hat, purse, and of course, the ma c-up y;gs unlimited. From 9 tVl 1C,:Z0 in the morning the school was cirs, and they really took over. Following the pleasant ur and a half of tormenting teachers and students the Q3s broeped out and into Dot RyanTs family home and was tertainod there. Dales Restaurant was the next stop; a on the class and sponsor, Mrs, Francesca Spencer, were nored with a luncheon at the Ocean Springs Cafe by Mrs. C cries Ryan. Bowling and a movie were enjoyed in the af moon. The Seniors, tired of being kids, even for a day, re id tz conool Monday morning with niJ their Senior I'-ji:: I • on. display.

The community house was elaborately aecorated in ed, white and blue ana the Senior class colors. Uni- or ms, i.rmy, Navy, Marine ana Merchant Marine, were VEIiX luch in evidence. DOT xiY N, lookin' mighty feassy, was waying with the AeMY and JOYCE BiL.UGEZ, MSLBi- LOVETT nd ADRIENNE ILLING were also being given a rush by the oys in khaki. B.«uN2Y DES30MM33 ..ND BEEDIE Me ELEN really ut it cn—California stuff , we suppose—but Oxu.L MAE YAN, JUNIO., V0IV2DICH, P.-UL SC u(BOaOUGH, BETTY 2GLIN -u.CIE PaTTEASON and MERLIN IL.UTEuE cut-up—Gulf Coast tyle. Glu.CIE ;JJD MERLIN got right int the spirit of he evening and danced off with the JITTa.,-EUG PRIZE! onder how they spent those two bucks? SISTLu SETS were popular: there were the SNYDEn isters, MURIEL and PHYLLIS; the EGLIN sisters, PEGGY no BETTY; the NOEL sisters, DOT and BETTY an., the LLING sisters, BIENNE ..ND EMnGENE. Jii.N KING locked ightv chic in a frock f her own making and .LICE LE. as having Tun in her 'quiet way. JaMES DENNISON was winging a cute little Biloxi number but his friend, ONNIE MoGlNTY, spent half cf his ti...e looking 'em cveifi LLI Bx.Koi, was truly the la y in red , while IvL.aGIE -.oTBxvOOK wore filmy black with a rea carnation corsage nd EVELYN VA.aD in blue an- sivler, wasn't allowed time o rest.
