Yearbooks tell a story, and the 1979 A Caravel is our chronicle of the achievements, activities, and special places and events of the school year. Most important, are the peo- ple of the school year 1978 and 1979. They are the ones who will come to mind when we open this book many years from now. This year we would like to take you through a year 'fin time at Ocean City High School. Our book is divided into the seasons of the school year. Autumn began our year with the renewing of old acquaintances, the advent of a new principal, football games and the Halloween Parade. With winter came the Christmas Ball and Basketball ' games. Spring brought the advent of Out- door activities once again. In addition to the excitement of the end of the school year was commencement for the Seniors. To most people this is just another year- book but to us it is a reminder of the best times of our lives. It was hard work putting this book together but it was worth it and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed pro- ducing it for you.
