This marked the return of a Girls Track team at OCHS after an absence of many years. Under the coaching of Mr. Holden and Mr. Naples. the 27-member team won the Cape May County Cham- pionship Title. The six seniors will be greatly missed since they added so much stability to the team. These members stand out: Debbie Holden. mile runner. I979 Boys Track team was composed of 45 boys competing in field and running events. Certain B O underclassmen showed exceptional promise during this season including Junior Mark Dice, who set L1 school record in the hurdling, and Sophomore Brian McDonald. who was the Cape TRA May County Champion 2-miler.
