IIN l H N 'I N Ezra ' A 7 W Class H1StOTY On September 5 1949 eleven bright and good looking freshmen sauntered 1nto Oberon 1l1g,,h They were l arry Barko, Mona Burgstahler Rodney Belcher Vannatta Drummond Bxlly Finley Joyce Knudson Audrey Nelson Ronald Nelson Jerry Sheets and Orxs Sorenson Our teachers that year were Miss Lleanor Forsee and Mr Earl Logue A we look back on that year we all ag ee that we could have behaved better Rodney Belcher left us at the beginnmg of our Sophomore year to attend school at the Benson County Agricultural and Training School at Maddock That year the Sophomore girls were asked to serve at the Junior Senior Banouet bome of the Sophomores were in the all school plays 'Dumb Dora and All Carrs to the escue Mr Logue, Miss C'1lmer Miss Severson 'xnu Miss Kruse xnade up our faculty Beverly Fosser Rodney Belcher and Judy Wallace joined our class in the Junior year to help raise funds for the Womens Club Mr Logue Mr Drenth, and Miss Gallez were our teachers In April 1952 we had a Junlor Senior Banquet at the Congregatmnal Church followed by a prom in the school gym This was enjoved very much by all Our Senior Class now has eleven members Larry P rico Rodney Belt' 101' Mona Burgstahler Vanatta Drummond Billy Finley Beverly Fossen, Joyce Knuason Audrey Nelson Ronald Nelson Janice Stenberg and Judy Wallace This year we put on the play Dirtv Work at the Crossroads a 1890 meller drama Our faculty members this year are Mr and Mrs Dammel and Mr Drenth Our Graduation Exercises will be held on Wednesday May 27 1953 at the Oberon Community Hall at 8 P M and Baccalaureate Services on May 24 1953 at the Calvary Lutheran Church This year we also plan to have a banquet and prom 9 O L , I . . .
